We are delighted to announce that Dr Scott Heyes is joining our Advisory Board, and to welcome him to the RCA community.
Scott is currently an Associate Professor of Cultural Heritage in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra, Australia. He is Convener of Indigenous studies in the Faculty. He has research connections with the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and with Trent University in Canada, where he has worked with the Inuit people in Arctic Canada. His specialist area is in cultural mapping and oral history projects with indigenous groups. He has conducted a major cultural mapping project in the Limestone District. We hope to build on his work in our Limestone Coast environmental history project, and look forward to working with him and learning from him.
